Mental Health Support for Veterans in Canada

At Flow State therapy, we’re dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health support for Canada’s veterans. We understand that the transition from active duty to civilian life can bring unique challenges, often compounded by experiences from military service. Our team offers evidence-based therapies, including Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and other trauma-focused treatments, to help veterans regain a sense of peace, purpose, and connection.

Challenges Faced by Veterans

Canadian veterans are significantly impacted by mental health concerns. Statistics show that:

  • Approximately 1 in 5 Canadian veterans experiences post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, or anxiety disorders, often related to their service.

  • Suicide rates among veterans are nearly 1.4 times higher than the general population, underscoring the need for targeted mental health support.

  • The Veterans Affairs Canada Life After Service Studies report that 30% of veterans face mental health struggles, which can impact their relationships, careers, and overall quality of life.

These statistics highlight the importance of accessible and effective mental health care tailored to veterans’ unique needs. At FlowState Therapy, we provide compassionate, structured support to help veterans address these challenges and work toward healing.
